I cant do consistent DP and Double QCF inputs in this game?
Anyone else going trough the same issue? I play all kind of fighting games, from Street Fighter 2 to new games, and I've never had this issue before.

90% of the time I try to DP, a fireball comes out instead, even if I'm walking forward before doing the motion.

Anyone else having the same issue? Is this a timming thing or wathever? Should I be doing inputs in a slower or faster rate, or is it a known bug?

i have the issue flipped around...often when i walk or run forward and want to do a firewall i get a dp instead due to the buffer timing/storage.

Inputs are kinda weird sometimes, Jiyuna from Animeilluminati has mentioned this already so at least it's getting some attention boost from him.

If you're using a fightstick, I've noticed that as well for DPs. Instead of doing the usual 623x motion as usual, I have to do 6123x on this game. I haven't had any issues with double quarter circles, though.

Go into training mode and check your inputs. Remember to end dp on down-forward and not forward. As for DQCF the inputs are super strict in this game, and wake ups are even stricter; so if you're having trouble with it in matches, use the easy input, most easy input supers do the same damage.

Inputs might be easier, but cooldowns are longer, making them not recommended in the long run.

are you sure? isn't it supposed to be forward, down, down-forward, forward?
you are saying to skip the last forward?

the dp input is really strict I just do easy input and I have a problem with doing quartercircle back with Beelzebub after a 3 hit combo chain is it just timing or what

It hasn't been for years in many games, i guess that makes missinputing a fireball less frequent, Ending in 3 instead of 6 is what's known as the Z input. In GGXrd i managed to do DPs quite consistently just pressing 6 neutral then 3 very fast

Yes, I'm also having this problem. Playing on the Keyboard here. I don't get this in any other fighting game.

I hope they can fix this.

Nope, the supers don't have cooldowns, the easy input supers cost the same as the technical input supers. There are differences, but the cooldowns are identical (the time it takes to fully charge your super meter)

Welp, I stand corrected then. I still think it's better to use technical inputs (and to get used to them) not just because they transfer to other fighting games, but also because it affects other moves. But it's nice to see that SA/SSA have identical cooldowns even with easy inputs.
