I think the issue is that Cygames didn't allow XSEED (and marvelous) to provide the codes because of fear of people just buying the game and then refunding it right after, which I get and sucks both ways so I ended up buying the code from someone else who doesn't play the mobage at 30 bucks for all (including dlc codes)
Damn, the game is so bad that people would buy the game just to get a code then refund the game. That's not good but honestly you are right.
there are ways to be sure that people don't refund the game after they obtain the code but it's too much of a hassle to put I suppose.
Mmmmm shell out 120$ for both versions, so I guess you mean you'll buy the PC version for 60$ and a PS4 version for 60$ for the code, but then if you sell the ps4 copy for 30$ you would have spent 90$ in total, to me it's not acceptable but people here seems to be fine with that, I think it's my locked topic that had a person say "if you like the game you can buy a ps4 copy and a PC copy too, I bought multiples copies of the same game in the past" and he did say something along "COD players buy the same game every year". I guess you'll be called a troll like me too for not wanting to spend 120$.
Sadly nothing we can do to help.
Yeah but they don't want to make that, especially when they know people will buy the game regardless.
that is what they did for the ps4 version, you can only get the code for completion (5k crystals) for finishing story mode, and Vyrn suit for finishing hard mode (3k crystals if you already had the suit prior to this from an old edition of Granblue art book)
but on the PC version it is completely possible to finish RPG mode and hard mode by skipping and using "other methods" to bypass everything, and hell I wouldn't be surprised if people could datamine it but then again that'd be a far smaller percentage of the players
The problem with having these codes tied to the CD key or transaction ID is that it still doesn't warrant the person can't refund, and while the codes can normally only be obtained after a few hours of gameplay (past the refund limit), it's not entirely impossible that some people would find a way to bypass that step. A more secure way, as inconvenient as it would be, would be something similar to what some other people said on other threads: having the player log into their GBF account. And even that might not be enough on its own, so it could be tying the GBF account, CD key / transaction ID, and Steam account together (to avoid abuses through Family Sharing).
Even though I don't play the mobile/browser game, I also hope XSeed and Cygames will reconsider. Same story for other bonuses, like the artbook and OST.
