Why aren't my achievments saving?

I have gotten like all achievments but one, and yet it says I haven't obtained any. It also says I haven't played the game. At all.

Try this fix:
Right click the game in your library, hover over manage, click on browse local files, find “steam_appid.txt”, open it, remove the 480 and replace it with 1089980, save, launch game.

If this is about Steam achievements, try doing the thing above. Then, try clicking on the associated earned in-game achievement as some games with in-game achievement lists are programmed to unlock the Steam achievement when the in-game achievement icon is clicked. Or you may have to reset your data and do it all over again, or it'll auto unlock when you launch the game, idk I haven't had this issue with this game.
