Not sure if all of my dry races were indoors, but. Including my sponsor events, I had like, 4 rain tracks in a row. I did have 2 sponsor events that were dry.
I don't mind a rain event here and there, for the lulz. I wouldn't purposely pick rain, though. Trying to ride through that is pretty rough.
The problem (other than the lack of realism) is that mud events in this and other milestones series have never felt all that satisfying. The bike feels artificially slower, like you're hitting the rev limiter. They should make the same (sort of) speeds possible as in the dry, but with far more chance of crashing/spinning out - so a bit more like a real mud race where some riders may choose to throw caution to the wind, crash more, but still win. Or not... etc.
As of now my bike randomly slows down for no reason other than it being built into the track map. It's something like the 7th mud race of the season and I'm not quite sure I can bare finishing it.
Never gonna happen. MIlestone cannot create environmental ruts that go beyond the aesthetic. They cannot create collisions between the ruts and bike. I bet their physics engine is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥, that the moment they tried it the bike went flying the moment it hit the rut. They don't have the developer talent to pull it off.
