Game does not launch (HELP)

When I try to launch the game it says "preparing to launch NBA2K2O" for a sec and then nothing happens. I tried to restart my computer and Re-Install the game but it still does not work. There is no process happening in the taskbar either. I restored my computer 2 days ago so I don´t think thats the problem.

Any help appreciated.

What are your specs? Did you have any issues with any previous NBA 2K games?

xD I myself, am having issues downloading the game too. It wouldn't unpack and it took forever, so now I am trying to reinstall it but it keeps starting again at 89% after uninstalling it and it won't install so something is up and it is really getting on my nerves.

same i have a built pc that runs gta on ultra graphics and its not working. I did everything physically possible. steam told me to contact 2k but they dont have a number and they will take forever to respond!! please help??

No, i never had a problem with any NBA game, my specs are fine, its the game.

Man it just sucks. I even called my internet provider and bumped my interent from 150mbps to 300mbps

Solved it by uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 and installing Visual C++ 2015. https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48145
