Can't skip to get subbed in

I have a weird bug in MyCareer.. I'm on the bench as games start and if I press skip to get subbed in, it won't let me skip. I can just watch the game, the commentators suddenly disappear and I only hear the players. Anyone experiencing this issue? And btw, what the hell did they do to MyGM, you can't even change the length of quarters and the playing difficulty.

Theres no solutions yet. nothing helps for most of the people.

SOLUTION: first you just press A button to skip then you need to HOLD A button if you want to play.

not entirely true but 2k needs to fix this....shouldn't have to button mash to get into a game.....
