Laggy and not smooth

In my old nba2k18. I am playing with the highest video setting without laggy. But in nba2k20 , when i set to highest setting , it shows laggy and not smooth in the whole game. My laptop is i5 and 8gb ram. Can anyone help me to solve this out

solve it by u self, those re not the only reason why the game is lagging. does u laptop is gaming laptop?that must be u system problem.if not, at least has 8gb ram.and we have no idea u i5 is old version or new enough.check it on laptops information then search online.and figure out u graphics card. 2k18 and 2k20 re huge diff in graphics.
