My career skill caps

The key thing i didnt like about 2k19 my player was the crazy amount of time it took me to earn my points to extend the skill caps. Would anyone please be able to explain what its like in 2k20 before i buy? I cant find anything about it online yet. Thanks!

Basically that is all open now, but you need to increase your Mypoints to unlock attribute points, which let you use the points in your skills.. But its not bad.. About 30 games into my rookie season I almost got it all unlocked skills wise.. the grind this year is the badges, not the skills as much.

Yeah, you can complete anything you want without having to hope for the cap to be in X skill. Now it keeps a total X number and gives you the freedom to choose where you want to place your points. It's MUCH better this way.

Now, the medals ... I just finished the story, so I don't know if you will have the gym like in 2K19, but apparently you will earn points in a certain area (defense, shoot etc) according to what you did during a match. . When you earn enough points, you can choose which medal (from that specific area) you want.

In addition, player creation is now very free to customize.
