Game does not launch (HELP)

When I try to launch the game it says "preparing to launch NBA2K2O" for a sec and then nothing happens. I tried to restart my computer and Re-Install the game but it still does not work. There is no process happening in the taskbar either. I restored my computer 2 days ago so I don´t think thats the problem.

Any help appreciated.

Try re start pc and use task manager to end steam session to if no luck message me

I have tried to verify the game files, re-install the game, and other tweaks that people comment on-line (e.g., running on windowed mode), but none of them seemed to work for me, sorry!

If you tried everything by now, and it doesn’t work properly than this is what I would do ( I am not suggesting it )

I would download it from skidrow for example, with out the additional files so only the game.

As this is a clean install than for sure, while installing it I d go offline after installing I would verify the game through steam ...

in case ur reinstalling the game again, make sure that after u uninstall it, that you cleanplppup ur registry 1st, and then install it again. beside that it may happen that another running process lead to that issue, so before you start the game make sure you turn off every app which is running in the background

If you haven't already, tell windows defender to allow the game. What version of Windows do you use?

Try this: Search, in the Windows Start menu, for" Windows Defender settings". Go there, then into "Firewall and Network protection". At the bottom center is "Allow an app through firewall". Look for NBA 2K20. It's not rare for games to not be allowed, for whatever reason.
