Vertical and strength for dunking
Even famous youtubers still dont know it, is vertical useful for dunking or is strength the attribute to go for for dunking?

many people claim that vertical is only useful for rebounds and the contact dunks trigger with strength and it makes no difference if you have high or low vertical?

would be useful to know this detail :/

importance of strength when going for contact dunks?
Anyone know good numbers on how much strength and vertical is needed to consistently get contact dunk?

i have read so much about that and no one really knows... some claim vert is better than strength others say vert has no effect on dunking

i have the feeling that the even pie (speed AND vert AND strength) is the best option...

EDIT: i watched again comments on videos,
there are still people who claim vertical is only for rebounds

so it would be good to know if this is true

Do you mean in REC/park or MyCareer?

I have a pretty weak 6'4" PG (73 strength maxed) with high vertical (99 maxed) and in MyCareer (on Pro) I get all sorts of contact dunks consistently over good defenders (e.g. Embiid, AD), and I could do so even before reaching max level. My driving dunk is 90 maxed and I also have contact finisher on HOF.

On REC, I got the occasional contact dunk (like 1-2 every 3 games on good occasions) but it seems to be way more situational. Usually the defender has to be standing almost below the rim and I need to have enough momentum and stamina to pull it off. Last I played REC was when I was 96 overall though, so I don't know how different it would be now.

I don't know for sure what's more important, just thought I'd mention how it's been so far for me.
