Controller not working

Can't get the game to recognize my xbox 360 controller, how do i fix this?

omfg, almost every day someone is asking this... go steam,setting, controller setting, and click on Xbox controller. if that not work then you controller is broken

You have to go into the game properties by right clicking on it in your library. Then you have to change the "Steam per-game input" to "Forced On" If that doesn't work try spamming a button input when the game starts. If none of that works I got no more tips.

in the steam setting , controler, activate the assist config for xbox
