Whitebeards voice actor

... so i noticed that the voice just felt off and made some quick research just to find out, that the reason being is that the OG voice actor for WB died 2019 .... i came here to have fun and meet again my most favourite pirates, not to feel ... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :(
R.I.P. Kinryu Arimoto, you will be missed :(

This one isn't too bad, most noticeable difference being the laugh. Went from "Gurararara" to "GU LA LA LA LA LA LA".

Its not only the laugh all the the laugh is like hitting a brick wall face first.
The deep, calm yet agressive gurgle in the voice is what bonded the whole picture to me, this one has to me a noticably higher pitch altho still deep and also sounds more brutish while the old one had something gentle about himself at all times since his voice was rather warm, sry but it is probably just me fan boying :p

Yeh his gameplay is less..... earthquaky? from the older whitebeard also, atleast so far since i didnt level him much, obviously you can hear that the VA is trying, but they need a different guy cause i can't think that he can replicate that warmth in his voice! At least the OG graced us with it while he still could and while WB was still alive, he even voiced a damn jojo character

yeah. i know the va for the old joseph joestar passed away recently. Not sure if they are the same person. either way, we lost an amazing va. I do think the new one is trying, but hell never be able to replicate the old whitebeard. Some things just cant be replaced.

Very sadly so, tho we can admit the overall Voice acting in this game is just top notch, like damn .... that is well worthwhile content if you like the voice actors

yeah, despite the few issues i have with it, i do enjoy playing it for sure!

The new one is the same voice actor as Crocodile, so yee.

It's kinda sad, yes... but they should've search for a better replacement instead of the current one imo.. he doesnt fit at all.

Like the old voice actor of kizaru was a legend, no doubt, but the new voice actor has almost the same voice, which is perfect imo.

Tbh i NEVER noticed his death due to the voice, damn ... thats a near if not complete 1 to 1 fit.

oh :( i hear this the first time - but Kizaru has the same fate. With his VO passed away the character will never be the same to me.
The VOs gave these 2 characters their particular charm.

tbh ki kizarus new VA is actually solid but it still seem there is this little something gone, i mean we had it coming, one piece is a super old franchise at this point tbh!

I feel like Oden voice and kizaru voice in the game aren't the same as in the anime.
