Finding players online

What's up everyone,

Just wanted to ask if you struggle finding people to play online with, especially in the main or Free mode.

I've tried several times to recruit or join someone but with no success. I can't find anyone currently playing the story mode.

If you do find random people, how do you proceed ?

Same here, can't find anyone, been trying for like 10 minutes on all different kinds of episodes. Kinda unfortunate, really

The game's "online feature" is a bad joke. This is worse than the PW3 PS4 online features. It's just good if you have a friend playing the game with you... if you don't... maybe hope for a patch.
There is no real matchmaking overview where you could see what games/lobbies are open. You have to click through every single map and every single option there is just to find no game.

And if you want to host a game so that strangers can join you have to wait and wait just for no one to join because how could they know that you wanna play a match to let's say get an S-rank (yes, you have to pick why you want to host a game/play a match) Stupid af

EDIT: If you wanna join a match and see what games are open go to the episode sub menu and chose "Any". Now you get a list of which maps are open.
That solves many issues :)

idk why they didn't go with the PW2 matchmaking where you could see what people were playing or if someone was looking for a game on a particular map, or even pw1 where you had an acutal lobby list.

Ok so it isn't just me.
I agree with you, this system is really badly built.
Don't know how they came up with this in 2020, with years and years of experience in online games. It's really a shame.
