No cut scenes

I can't watch cut scenes. It will just show black screen and then skip to next part of gameplay. Can't even play the cut scene if I go to gallery.
How can I fix it. T_T

I have the exact same issue.. been searching for solutions for a while but can't find anything on it... tried a bunch of stuff but nothing worked -.-'

You could try going to your "steamapps\common\OPPW4\File\REGION\WW\Movie" and deleting all the files in the movie folder. Then doing a 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' via steam.

1. From the Library section, right-click on OPPW4 and select Properties.
2. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files.
3. After its finished....profit?

Also try installing VLC player and see if you can play the movies that are in the movie folder I mentioned above. If they are black videos then files are corrupted (this could also happen in PW3)

i saw some setting in the options that said skip scenes or something like that maybe thats what it does, start by checking that out

How many movie files do you have in your folder ? I cant find the movies for the beginning when Kaido sends luffy away

98 files in total.

I already that tried that, sadly wasnt the issue.. I deleted the movie folder and gotta wait for it to download now and try again ..

Well the only way i found it to cutscenes work was to lower resolution and setting to windowed mode ? For example cutscenes does not work in 1080p only lower 0.0

yea I just tried that and it worked.. but the graphics quality.. jfc
If I could figure it out why this happens

Im not sure i played on my friend account and that was the only way to deal with it. Tried everything, searched every topic from pirate wariors 3 and nothing. Btw whats your graphic card ?

It's a 1070ti, I was checking the videos properties and they are 1920x1080 it really makes no sense for it not to work.. so annoying

I have rtx 2060 super and yeah, the same thing happened on my end. When cutscenes was supossed to show up screen turned black for a sec and back to gameplay. Maybe bug ? maybe problem with some graphic drivers ? Who knows, devs need to check it out

this is worked. maybe it's bug or something T_T
