FAQ - IMPORTANT - READ ME FIRST!
RAISE YOUR HAND!
The correct way to play Touring Kart with a motion controller is to raise your hand to catch the power-ups.
If you play this way the experience will be more fun and immersive and the game will detect much better the later movement of throwing or drinking.

CRAFTING POWER-UPS
When you start playing all power-up fusions are blocked. But little by little they will be unlocked (fulfilling missions of the vending machine) and you will be able to create very crazy combinations.
For example: If you take a chicken, don't use it! Try waiting to find an energy drink and it will automatically merge into a faster, more powerful red chicken.
Get all fusions unlocked and you'll be the king of power-ups

VENDOR MACHINE & MISSIONS
EVERYTHING in the game is unlocked by doing the missions of the gift vending machine.
It is very important to choose the right circuit and think about the necessary strategy to face each mission.
For example if you are asked to fly for 2 seconds you should choose a circuit that has a ramp near a descent to do so.

MOTION SICKNESS?
We know that all car games in VR can cause motion sickness.
If you are a person sensitive to active dizziness go to configuration and activate the 2 anti motion sickness options that the game has.
If you get dizzy we recommend that you choose the view specially designed to avoid motion sickness (the arcade machine view) with this view it is impossible to get motion sickness.

FLAT TRACKS?
All the circuits in the game are inspired by real circuits.
We have added impulse ramps and many other fun things but certainly only have ups and downs if the original circuit has ups and downs: Austria, US, Monaco, Japan, Belgium for example are circuits that have quite a few ups and downs.
If the game has enough community support we would like to make an additional pack of circuits that are not based on real circuits and where we can offer a more pronounced vertical component.

DRIVE WITH YOUR VIRTUAL HAND?
Yes! With the new update you can.

WHEELS, FORCE FEEDBACK & CONTROLLERS
The game should detect any controller and/or steering wheel. There are 2 possible cases:
1- If you can't see in the sofa screen the racer with the wheel use the button of this scene to send us automatically all the information about your wheel and we'll check it.
2- The most common case is that the game detects your steering wheel but then the FFB does not work or some axis does not work perfectly. For this, the solution is as follows:
  • Open the game.
  • Main Menu and select configuration button (top/left)
  • Select controllers button
  • Select customize button to rebind your axis
if your steering wheel supports FFB we recommend install the drivers of the G29 steering wheel even if your steering wheel is different.

MULTIPLAYER & DISCORD
We want to polish and improve the multiplayer to make it work perfectly.
Since the game is cross-platform, we'll have more people playing as we add platforms. Check our discord and you'll get to know the community and you'll even be able to meet up and run against the devs.

TELEMETRY & MOTION SIMULATORS
The current version of the game send telemetry data using the standard UDP port with the IP 127.0.0.1 Port 4123:
Roll,Pitch,Yaw,empty,empty,empty,empty,vibration,speed
Example:
-0.0037,1.0952,-0.0037,0,0,0,0,0.5,28.0532
Range values Roll, Pitch = -15 .. 15
Range values Yaw = -10 .. 10
Vibration = 0 .. 1
Velocity = 0 .. 100 (It's the km/h)
It's also compatible most simulators and controllers such as

VR-ARCADE & COMERCIAL LICENSES
We are creating a commercial version specifically designed to be used in VR-Arcades that includes a simplification of the menus, greater support for external devices (we have some very interesting surprise reserved here) and many options to be able to specify by parameter how you want the game to behave: direct online games, all cars unlocked, and so on.
Write to support@ivanovichgames.com and we'll send you the information as soon as it's ready.

PLAYSTATION, MOBILE, QUEST VERSION
The version of Playstation will be almost identical to that of the PC and will come out when we finish the Early Access of Steam/Oculus (Hopefully by the end of the year) including cross-platform working between PC and console.
The mobile version is also confirmed with cross-platform multiplayer versus PC and consoles.
Finally, if do you want play the game in Oculus Quest, we need your help here https://www.change.org/p/do-you-want-to-play-our-game-touring-karts-on-the-oculus-quest
Here you can check a gameplay of the PlayStation version working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UX_rMnFUIE

Any chance to have other data such as:

- Engine Vibration (RPM)
- Impacts
- Road Bumps

In order to create a plugin for Sim Commander 4 / SimVibe ?

https://www.simxperience.com/en-us/products/software/simcommander4.aspx

This setup is very useful for home users who have cheaper bass shakers instead of a full motion rig.

@mors: We are using all this information and other relevant information like power-ups to generate a very resumed information in 2 simple parameters: Pitch & Roll.
Are you sure that you can't use this resumed parameters (Pitch & Roll)
You can try the demo for free ;)
