Is yakuza 4 any better than this?
I completed 0, k1 and k2, had lots of fun but blockuza isnt fun in fighting terms, fighting with trainer here is funnier that without it, so im gonna complete the game like that to experience the story. I know that 5 is like 0 and k1 but dont know anything about 4 and hope it isnt like 3.

Theres not nearly as much blocking as 3 you'll probably like it much more

4's story is horrible, 5 blocks even more than 3
I hate how battle feels here in general, thats what i meant

From a combat perspective Yakuza 4 (and 5) will have more variety in fighting as you control multiple characters throughout the story. Each has their own broken stuff to use if you want, but it generally feels much better than 3. Also remember that of all the Yakuza games you've played 3 is the oldest by release date and unfortunately it does show its age in multiple ways, not just the combat system.

Like many others I've gotten 100% achievements on all the (mainline) Yakuza games, but 3 is the only one I had to take a break playing for a while as it became less fun and more of a chore. However, I still think it's worth at least finishing the story to continue on with the rest.

I completed competition list in every yakuza game i played (0, k1 and k2) but in 3 i dont even want to touch minigames. I tried one where you train a hostess, finished her training and it was sooo boring and frustrating, i just cant find motivation to explore the map anymore, so maybe i wont even complete competition list in this one, just the plot and sidestories

You hit the nail on the head with the hostess training...that's what broke me for a while. Being so repetitive and having to do it so many times just drained my will to play the game at all for several months.

I assume competition list in 3 must be really hard to complete because its the oldest one, am I right? Like K2 was the easiest without dumb hard tasks like in 0 and k2

Not really, 5 is by far the longest/hardest for 100% completion (and 100% achievements, which requires 100% completion as part of it) simply because there's SO MANY things to do, but at least most of the stuff is relatively fun. Adding to that you can't load a Premium Adventure save for new game plus in 5, so you have to do everything during your regular run of the game (or new game plus run if you missed something).

Completing 3 is just annoying because several of the tasks are boring/not fun (like knocking over 100 people or catching a tuna). You also have to go through the story at least twice, probably 3 times if you started on Normal as Legend only unlocks when you beat Hard (and playing fresh on Hard is...not fun). Thankfully you can use New Game+ so it's just a matter of speedrunning the story 2 more times after your first playthrough.

If you're just going for achievements and not 100% completion in 3 it's not all that bad as you can ignore many of the completion categories once you have the necessary achievements, though you still need to do all the Substories at least once, and the Hard/Legend playthroughs.

Thanks. Im just doing competition lists and something else if thats fun, not getting all achievements because I dont want to complete story again with skipping all cutscenes, so i mostly just dont get the last achievements for completing the games on legend. Maybe will do it a few years later when Ill forget the dialogues
