Like many others I've gotten 100% achievements on all the (mainline) Yakuza games, but 3 is the only one I had to take a break playing for a while as it became less fun and more of a chore. However, I still think it's worth at least finishing the story to continue on with the rest.
Completing 3 is just annoying because several of the tasks are boring/not fun (like knocking over 100 people or catching a tuna). You also have to go through the story at least twice, probably 3 times if you started on Normal as Legend only unlocks when you beat Hard (and playing fresh on Hard is...not fun). Thankfully you can use New Game+ so it's just a matter of speedrunning the story 2 more times after your first playthrough.
If you're just going for achievements and not 100% completion in 3 it's not all that bad as you can ignore many of the completion categories once you have the necessary achievements, though you still need to do all the Substories at least once, and the Hard/Legend playthroughs.
