I don't get the hostess mini game

Started that substory, found a girl, dressed and made her up, no one would sit with her. Minigame ended. Made $7k after spending $55k of my $100k budget. Now don't even know where to go to pick it up again. Went to Flawless but that's to buy time with the hostesses there, which I did. No idea where this club is. Is it even worth it? I read it's terrible. Nothing like the fun cabaret club game in Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 2.

Yes it's super bad and unfun and nobody knows how it works except for mentally stunted ppl who did it for the completion

you're talking about Hostess Maker, it is different from visiting the hostesses. the club is called South Island and you can access it by sticking on the left side of the street after you pass Aqua Sky ( forget whether or not its marked on the map, i think not)
is it worth it? not really, its really annoying, you only need to do 1 girl for the substory to complete, though for an achievement you need to go through multiple i think (enough shifts for the best items to unlock for you)

Thanks, got it now. The clubs are in pink on the map. I'll just play it enough to finish the sub story. It's pretty basic.

Okay, I trained the girl up to S rank across the board and had a perfect service and finished the substory. A bit of a grind but it's really not that bad. Once you get the choker and corsage unlocked you can make her up to where three of her attributes are maxed and gorgeous is 80-90%. Then it's just train-free time-train and when S-rank, encourage-free time-free time and it's done. They could have made it pretty decent if they just allowed a couple of save slots for her get-ups. You only need two or three to cover the different situations. That eliminates the tedious changing around of accessories. Also, rebalance the attribute values for the different makeup and items. You shouldn't be able to make a killer build by going with the same dress, hairstyle and makeup, and only tweaking the accessories a bit. My girl looked practically the same pretty much the whole way through.

I'm definitely not doing the three or four other girls though. I've had my fill of this one.

This minigame sucks I used a guide so I could leave her in one outfit all the time, in 4 they do allow you to have multiple outfit slots but it’s still just as tedious.

i also used a guide to go through this and actually on 3 a single dress combination is able to cover all attributes, so there's no need to swap once you get the right items. in hindsight its more annoying in 4 where you do need to swap almost every shift
