We need quality of life updates
The game is great, and I'm really glad Sega ported it to PC, otherwise I would never have the chance to play it, but after kiwami 2 there's some things that are really bugging me:

Like only being able to buy one meal/drink at restaurants, only being able to save at phone booths and being unable to stack items in the inventory are the things that are boring me the most.

I know that Sega probably wants to preserve the essence of the game, but the game launched almost 12 years ago, and improvements are necessary, this kind of stuff only makes the game seem dated, and takes away a lot of the fun, and a lot of my precious time, it's a terrible design choice which sole purpose is being a time consumer, those things were excusable in the past because we hadn't anything better, but not anymore.

You can't give me a smooth, quick and overall better game design, only to take it away one game later (I mean, you clearly can, but it kills a lot of the fun).

Don't get me wrong, I love that some aspects got untouched, but this little things deserves an update.

Buying 1 meal/drink at restaurants doesn't bother me too much but it certainly annoys me. Being only able to save at phone booths I'm fine with. It's a lot less annoying than only having autosaves IMO, which too many games have.

Being unable to stack items in the inventory, I also think is fine. Just put whatever u dnt need into the item box. The inventory feels bigger than it was in Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. My only problem is that equipped items stay in ur inventory. Oddly enough, there's a QoL improvement that makes the item box better than Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 IMO. U can access items in the item box when it makes sense, like at the pawn shop, or with the weapons repair/upgrade guy.

Really? I get really frustrated, buy a meal, wait for little animation, buy a meal again, wait for animation...

As for the save feature, lots of time I just wanna save the game and quit, but no, I have to walk half the map to find a save booth, have 2 fights along the way to finally being able to save and exit.

I mean, I'm not asking for much, those are such small changes that would improve the game a lot.

The only problem I have with the save thing is the game could use with a couple more locations, particularly in Kamurocho to do it.

Not being able to stack things and having to one meal at a time, is a little annoying (more so the food one) but not something I've finding overly frustrating.
But then I'm also not playing for completion right now, I'm just playing through the games plots and then will probably play the next one rather than stick around for teh stuff I missed, I'll likely come back to the game later to clear stuff up, so maybe it will become more obnoxious then.

These are simple remasters of older games not remakes like the two Kiwami games are, it is what it is. Each new entry of yakuza games gets quality of life improvements. They aren't taking anything away from you, you are playing an older game than 0 or either of the Kiwamis.

Y3 has some pretty dated design choices by modern standards.

Edit: What is up with Kamamura's comment being in "analysis limbo" for multiple days now?

For the foods you can actually date the hostess and bring them for dinner and you can click all of them in once in Okinawa was the Okinawan restaurant near the phone area and the grill restaurant

I know that, but that's no excuse, lots of remasters out there have QoL updates.

Thanks! That will surely help!

It's remaster. Most remaster only upscaled the texture, better compatibility on modern console. QoL improvement on remake. In 3 they add Kana momonogi and Yui Hatano as a new hostess other than that no
