Why Remake Zero, Kiwami 1 and 2 and not 3, 4, 5?
I was wondering why they did this move? I mean I would love to play 3, 4 and 5 remake.... Is there any info around if it could still happen? Why was the decission made not to remake them?

Yakuza 1 and 2 were PS2 games, Yakuza 3-5 were PS3 games.

The difference in quality made a full remake of Y1 and 2 pretty much necessary to make them accessible to a wider audience, no amount of upgrading and remastering would have helped. Overall, the PS3 games aren't that dated and are still enjoyable without a complete overhaul.

Could it still happen? Well... maybe? I'm sure Y3 Kiwami would sell, and I'd love to see Okinawa in Dragon Engine graphics, but I'd prefer them to focus on new content.

Thank you very much my gaming friend :-) I didnt know that.

It would take a long time and would likely result in content cuts (Yakuza 3 alone has 100+ sidequest). That way they made the right decision to redo the ps2 classics and just remaster the rest.

Because it was already on (an older version of) the 0 engine anyways so they didnt need to remake it, id rather new games are released than remakes of older ones. ps2 games were outdated now so they needed remaking unless you want fixed cameras and janky gameplay

If ishin does well they very well might do a source port of the games to UE4/5 with all the bells and whistles that comes with that. The core games likely wouldn't change, though.

I highly doubt they ever fully remake them, though. At least not for a very long time.

A little bit Off-Topic but:
When I play yakuza 0 - 6. What should I play after this games. Like a dragon is a separat story isnt it? I know that a new game comes in november. Is it Yakuza 7? Why is Majima in Ishin? When should I play Ishin and is Judgement and Lost Judgement related to Yakuza Series?

game out in november is basically the gap between 6 and 7, so a little like mgsv bridging metal gear solid 1 from peace walker
thats not majima in ishin, its another character but it has their likeness
yakuza 7 (like a dragon) is still part of the series but its about the series new protagonist ichiban, theres some spoilers to 6 so play it after 6
ishin, and the judgments are all spin offs, so you can play them whenever

Is Like a Dragon and the old Yakzua Series with Kyru related? Thought Like a Dragon is more a spin off?

this is the problem with SEGA and rggstudios changing the damn name, you get confused individuals like this not knowing what is what

yakuza: like a dragon is called yakuza 7 in japan, so its actually part of the main series and the 8th game in the mainline series - from now on the games are going to be called "like a dragon" not "yakuza" anymore, so "like a dragon infinite wealth" is actually "yakuza 8" and what you should play after 7 (although playing gaiden which IS a spin off isnt a bad idea either)

So the spin off gaiden should I play after 7 Like a dragon and before Infinitive Weatlh. The spin off is here called : The man who erased his name. Correct?

And when should I play Ishin? This one is not related to any of these?

ishin isnt related to any of the main entries, gaiden is, so play gaiden after playing 7 and before 8 (infinite wealth)
yes gaiden is the man who erased his name

which is kind funny when you consider "gaiden" literally means "side story" in Japanese lol
