Yakuza 3 is the worst?

Is it the story or the combat? so far i don't mind being dad Kiryu since it's so wholesome, but all the fights are ridiculous. like not hard, just stupid how all enemies block your attacks and you can barley land any hits unless you loop around them with a dodge.

This was literally me when I played all of the games lmao, no weapons, nothing. Just an inventory full of the top drinks. It legit feels like cheating so I only used it when my health dropped to like 5%

you don't need the fancy moves. you can cheese it by dodging to there side or behind and doing the uppercut combo repeatedly. Just need to know what combo they do that works best for the counter.

I use potions, weapon heat attacks and cheese a lot like running around waiting for them to start combo and simply mashing them afterwards. Not exactly fun, same as doing the boring sidestep attack, sidestep combo thing.

Well... She won't follow you as much, but let's just say you're not gonna be too happy haha, but it's fine, it won't ruin 5 and 6 for you or anything. But if you get to them, I wanna see your opinions on them afterwards

Yeah that and the combat is the main complaint people have for 3, since it feels like a babysitting sim. I personally love 3 and 6 but I can see why others don't for those reasons

7 is the worst, it combines stupid story that makes no sense and no gameplay at all, everything takes hours to beat and you never have to think, only mash X and boring menuing.

6 story sucks and gameplay is casual piss easy, however it's possible the PC port makes it better with all the bugs fixed, difficulty balance. If it's getting to the level of judgement, 6 could be more enjoyable.

3 story is retarded but the gameplay is good once you understand how to play so it's still a very good game.

Most yakuza stories start of strong and coherent then become pretentious and borderline nonsensical. It's like the writer isn't satisfied with the work unless they fill if full of plot twists, betrayals or curve balls. So many yakuza games I've played where my brain just starts to switch off in the last 1/3 of the game

I wouldn't have minded if they'd taken a hint from Rockstar and made the chase sequences skippable. They're... *not* particularly interesting gameplay, nor story, nor... interesting at all.

Completed the story yesterday.
Definitely feels like a side Kiryu story, but I don't hate it. In fact I enjoyed the story way more than Kiwami 1.
