Yakuza 3 is the worst?

Is it the story or the combat? so far i don't mind being dad Kiryu since it's so wholesome, but all the fights are ridiculous. like not hard, just stupid how all enemies block your attacks and you can barley land any hits unless you loop around them with a dodge.

Kiwami is the worst because of Majima Everywhere system.

I really don't get where all the hate for 3 is coming from, its as if everyone expects to button mash to victory or something. If enemies are blocking, just grab them or sidestep behind them or use a Komaki technique.

Most of the people enjoy easy victories, obviously they aren't real yakuza

Well... yeah, it may be fine at first but after fully upgrading everything it just becomes annoying. You can't even get away from him, because he will just randomly pop out of nowhere and you'll be forced to fight him.

I guess it comes down to personal taste but I think Kiwami was probably the worst one, the boss fights were frustrating in that one.

i agree i don’t like the boss in that game especially the second final boss then again he not as worse as the shooting minigame jesus chirst i hate that on legend difficult

I hate the gameplay but, being up to Chapter 12 now, I have to say that the more concise and faster paced story is very refreshing after how long 0,K1, and K2 were.

Combat seems fine now that I upped my stats and the idea of the orphanage shenanigans is to help theme the story. I don't get the hate personally. It's a nice cool down and offers a chance to relax and do some side stuff

I think he meant Kazama. One letter difference so cut him some slack

Probably but there was enough confusion over it that in the localisation of the original version of Yakuza 3 Kazuma's name was changed.

Having characters with such similar names is rarely a great idea. Whilst it may be a coincidence that does happen in reality doing it in fiction adds nothing of value unless it's used as a plot point.
