We need ultrawide. Proper ultrawide. Please give us a patch, or someone make a mod.
I do not mind if some heat actions look strange. I cannot handle huge black bars on my monitor.

Looks like I'm not the only one who noticed. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

If you cannot handle black bars, you shouldn't have got an ultrawide monitor.
Expecting developers for the game to at least display in the correct aspect ratio with black bars is reasonable. Expecting developers to add full ultrawide support without black bars when the original game clearly had not supported it is not realistic, and you should have been aware of this before buying an ultrawide monitor.

...What? All Yakuza games support ultrawide, bar these brand new releases. Ultrawide WILL be added, I'm merely informing others that it's yet to be done. Also, supporting ultrawide is such a minor thing. They literally JUST need to remove the black bars, which are literally just a png file.

I imagine it might be a bit problematic to mess with considering how much older the original games are, but it's a perfectly valid concern considering the standards all Yakuza releases have set so far on PC.
Hopefully it'll be added in a patch so you can play it comfortably.
I'm playing with a 1080p monitor but I'll still miss the higher framerates. Although 60fps are not at all deal-breaking for a Yakuza title, it'll take some getting used to after all the games on PC being uncapped.

I'd not hold your breath on the framerate being increased, the framerate being at 60 broke some interactions in the first place. Unless someone figures out how to change the way the game works, we'll have to settle for 60.

That's fair enough.

I don't want to be petty but I have a feeling some jealousy was in there.
