The pearl has to be obtained once per dragon. The title and emote are account-wide. There is a special dialogue that needs to be done to get the No emote.
Makes it so I can't even keep it, especially if the server I got it on ever gets wiped or goes down. Waste of time
either way, i liked it enough, cool to see some new stuff and having seasonal events is always a nice touch in games. as always, cant wait to see everything in the future after getting a sneak peek with this!
edit: i guess i should also say that i didnt care too much for the story/quest, it seemed kind of awkward or out of place.. but seeing the npcs was nice!
also: i could never find the biolumin nest.. i checked all over the island. dunno what thats about, but i can just nest in as bio anyways so i wasnt super concerned about it. but yes, to anyone else noting that same thing
Something like a Title and Emotes should be Bound to the actual account when earned. You litterally have Emote Packs for Sale wich are so why not make the same "Checkmark" for the Title and Emote earned in this Event ?
Pearls to be one time use makes them Special in that regard that even Kickstarter and Patreon people have something to strife to further. Wich will be rare in for example Summer to see for the Winter Skind as example.
Another thing i dont get btw is that Pearl Skins and Effects cannot be applied together anymore (Í know there is not much atm in that regard but with eventual further effects comming someday and Pearlskins it gives quite more Variety then and it was pretty nice back then) There should be an actuall Effect slot beside the Skinslot in my view for those Pearls too to apply to a Skin of choice via Pearl or the Original. Since lets say the Gold Pearl does in some instances not change the whole Dragon Base Skin but only Parts of it the Variations will be even more when you can additional place an Effect in this case the existing Shimmer from Kickstarter or Patreon for example on said Skin Combination.
Future Pearls for Skins and different Effects/Shaders could be quite interesting to gain then later on by maybe finding them hidden on the Map or by Archieving different Challenges or from Monsterdrops. The possibilities are kinda endless if given enough time and thinking later on so why not have the system wich this could be build on ready from the get go in a not limited state as it is now even if there is not much yet i can be expanded way easier later on if there is some more options in place already.
Just my few thoughts.
Also btw the Quest makes some problems when jumping several Servers.
I was on 3 Servers now got my first with Bio quite well everything worked on Server 1.
On the 2nd Server i could get the Title directly at the White Dragon with Bio but not the Questline...
So i changed to SS and got the Questline that way for the missing Emote.
Now on Server 3 i switched Dragons up from the start since i knew other Dragons i already did it with wont work - but cannot even get the Quest and could not get the Title at all starting there with a BS.
It might be cause im not adult yet but still. If it is Serverside (Title, Emote) it should not be influenced by another Servers completed Quest state with a Dragon Species at all.
The way it is now you are very limited idk why the Quest wont even start on a Dragon i did not use at all yet.
In contrary to this, getting the Pearl was not a Problem at all since you just talk and get it.
And then, there was barely any say on where to go next. I had to get all of my information from the players, the discord didnt have a guide from the devs, either- yknow for their first questline, no hints anywhere. Not that itd matter about the discord for me since 2fac auth. The admins gave up on line management as soon as the patch came out, even though there were still alot of players who did not risk the nonexistent queue to skip the lines. It was still faster to stay in line and wait. And finally, the information on the pearls keep changing. Is it one per acc, one per server, one per dragon? What is it, and lets mention it doesnt matter since its gone when you die, anyways.
The quests were being tracked locally, you can delete your quest folder in LocalAppData>Dragons>Saved>SaveGames and start the quest on a new server. The rewards are saved on the servers itself.
