Private Servers?
I searched around for some information regarding singleplayer that seems locked at the moment but couldn't find anything about it. Maybe someone here knows further. Is it yet possible to create a private server for you and your friends only? Is it because the game just launched and is in alpha or how long would it need for singleplayer then?

Not sure. I just made my own server through Nodecraft and can't even get on it lol.

There are private servers. Nodecraft offers a discount if you rent it through them. Here is the link:

Yes, you can host using other hosting providers. In the Official discord, there is also a channel to advertise different hosting providers.

I believe the question asked was if you can host a server locally, as in hosting a server on your own private computer, not using a hosting provider.

Yea for me I'm not interested in a hosting provider. I have a server cabinet with rack mounted servers of my own. I want to be able to host my own server on my own hardware. Note that I don't mean on the same PC as I play on but a dedicated server box.
