You will try some game mechanics, visit Forest biome and see some cool story scenes.
This game is a significant improvement of Primal Ritual Demo we wanted to release earlier this month. The things went in such way that we had to make it a separate paid experience, so you will get a decent VR game with more lore information, interactions and Steam features like Achievements.
Spider Song will have a very low price cause we want to meet as many users as we can with this new Nevrosa game. Unfortunately, we could not make it completely free, as we did with Prelude, because of current team state.
We are a small independent team and work only due to your continued support.
After release, there will be an option to support us by purchasing DLCs with some nice bonuses.
We also plan to include Spider Song into later Nevrosa bundle with Primal Ritual so owners will be able to get a good discount for the big game this year.
Yep, it's like if we had launched Prelude for $0.99 instead of making it completely free. Not a big price for VR owners, but will help us in further production.
More about Primal Ritual:
We have mechanics that could be interpreted like survival — for example, you have limited health, its level is bond to Pistol ammo and Blood Magic "mana", you need to explore the area but still have to restore the main camp where you can upgrade other weapons.
This is a story-driven experience, so you'll need to move along the main quest and resolve puzzles and game situations we have prepared for you, but the world is completely open for exploration.
There are AI-controlled animals represented by several different species with their own behavior.
but so far i dig the concept. interactivity is key for a game like nevrosa.
yea and i get sick of those spiders, so it would be nice to see some new enemys.
What particular issues do you have with SteamVR? We tested the game on Rift CV1 and everything was fine.
If you are running Steam Home on the background we recommend to turn it off.
Yes, Primal includes a large area made of several biomes you can explore. Spider Forest is one of them, however, you can make it much less dangerous by destroying spider hives.
