Missing Casino Tournament?

So I did the casino tournament at the sea side hotel. The next casino tournament I found was at the airport hotel. After beating the I briefly read stadium hotel as I skipped through dialogue. Only a casino hasn't popped up at the stadium hotel. I went back to the other two to check and they both say tournament won. I'm confused on what I do. I wanna get to the pineapple island but I need a cruise ticket. I'v read you can buy one from some guy at the seaport, Mitsuo I think his name was, but I have yet to see that.

And please don't tell me I have to get Luigi's stupid ring from the sewers just to get the cruise ticket. I 100% cannot beat that stupid level and I've tried for a combined total of, probably, almost an hour. There's no way I'm ever getting that ring, let alone the dark key. The fact that there's no alternate way to get those makes me peeved, but that's not why I came here.

in answer to you first question i have no clue (you may have to restart game) for the second question the hours of frustration are worth it because after the dark key you can get the infinity egg and for luigi JR you should as red gives you her album which could be worth a lot of money once you have golden mike
