FHM 6 has fan morale, which can play a part in being fired if you don't have "cant't be fired" checked
FHM 6 has player suspensions and while there's not reasons given for the suspensions when they happen, they are a nice little addition.
FHM 6 has player potential partially based on stats now, so depending on how good or bad a player has been performing in the current and recent seasons (up to 2) their potential could get a bump up or down.
FHM 6 now allows you to invite players to training camp and also has a mutual contract buyout option if a player becomes disgruntled and wants off the team.
FHM 6 now allows you to change league structure for hitorical games.
Youj can also import your FHM 5 save if you'd like.
I prefer FHM 6, becasue while none of the additions are mind blowing, they are solid and the game continues to improve year over year. It would be nice to see a gameplay mode similar to that of OOTP added and they hope to have something for FHM 7, but as a whole I feel the series is moving in the right direction. I'd just feel a bit more invested if I was able to actually coach games while watching. Still the best hockey sim on the market in my opinion and it's well supported by the developers.
EDIT*** Just noticed you said between FHM and EHM, so some of these such as Player Invites are in both games. One thing like better about FHM over EHM is it's easier to edit the game, such as rosters and such. I do like the number rating system in EHM more than I like the star ratings in FHM.
