Adversary...

What is wrong with that Adversary.... I've been grinding equips and cars to beat his sorry ♥♥♥, and still I can't! I've got all weapons maxed, only Bravestar left to max out, fame level God, and by the end of the race he gets a 40 second lead on me!

Even if I'm mowing down all the crates with a minigun and get a few nitros he still wins by 10-15 seconds....

I thought some regular bosses had overpowered cars, but this is just messed up. I won't even mention killing him :/

Edit, nitroed the hell out of my car, then somehow managed to block him by shoving my rear bumper in his face, and he still got me by 2 seconds... madness!

I finally beat The Adversary... I used the Deliverator, since it's faster than the Bravestar. It's still mostly down to luck though. You basically need to keep trying until you happen to get an unusually high number of nitros from crates instead of the other junk. It's kind of a bad game design when you need random luck to win...

Lol, Adversary is not good opponent. In first part of game (more than 10 years ago) he was more harder. One point that hard to get achieve "Kill Adversary" - this really hard. But takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Easy.

It was as difficult in the original Death Rally as it is in this one. If you can't keep up with him, damage him as much as you can, then slow down, restock on ammo, wait until he overtakes you again, and give him second dose to finish him off. Worked then, works now.

Figured that might work, took me quite a few tries though. Still, he's done and dead and I can take a wee break from this game. Thread might be useful for others, maybe.
