So... what's the point of this game?

I've played DR1 and there you had a ladder system where, when you got to first place, you faced the adversary. Along the path you would unlock better and faster cars, upgrade them, then race in 3 tiers where you would get points depending on how hard the tier was.

Here, I don't even know what's going on. First you get a cutscene to compete in death rally, then after a while you get another cutscene that the Adversary is watching and waiting for you. And then, every 3rd race, the Adversary challenges you, against whom you lose, of course, because he outpaces you no matter what car you use. Weapons don't do ♥♥♥♥ against him either. And if you refuse his "race", you get matched with an opponent who is just as immune to weapons and runs on nitro 24/7.

Am I missing something here? I also checked the progress bar above and it says "90%". So is this it then? 2 cutscenes and a luck-of-the-draw final boss?

You can cheese the adversary to death with mines and is possible to beat him with the fastest car by grabbing all the nitro boosts you can find. Other then that this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ phone port of a beloved classic dos game.

I did beat him after a couple of tries when RnG gave me enough boosts and the boxes actually opened. Have to agree, though, this game is ♥♥♥♥. Not compared to DR1 ♥♥♥♥, it's ♥♥♥♥ on its own.

So... im just exactly at this point of the game. It makes absolutely no sense to make it like this. Its unbeatable right now and i cant do anything.
