While the game's inclusivity is definitely a positive, there is still room for improvement. One area that could use more attention is the representation of transgender characters. While there are a few transgender characters in the game, there is still a lack of endings that center on the transgender experience. This is a missed opportunity, as it would not only provide more representation for the transgender community but also provide an opportunity for the game to explore the unique challenges and triumphs that come with being transgender. Furthermore, it would give players an opportunity to role-play as a character that they can relate to on a personal level, further enhancing the overall gaming experience.
In conclusion, while it is commendable that Baldur's Gate 3 has taken steps to make the game more inclusive and diverse, there is still room for improvement. By including more representation for transgender characters and exploring the unique challenges that come with being transgender, the devs can create a game that is truly representative of the diversity that exists in the world today. This would not only provide more representation for the transgender community but also give players an opportunity to role-play as a character that they can relate to on a personal level, further enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Loved already Divinity (sadly the romances were a lackluster though) BG3 did so much correct.
Looking forward to see what your passion brings next time!
However, I am still sad that we couldn't see the planned 'Upper City' or, 'Karlach's happy ending' or 'Pregnant Minthara' storyline
