Loved already Divinity (sadly the romances were a lackluster though) BG3 did so much correct.

However, I am still sad that we couldn't see the planned 'Upper City' or, 'Karlach's happy ending' or 'Pregnant Minthara' storyline

I'm sorry there won't be any DLC for BG3 or a BG4, but given how much I loved Divinity Original Sin II (also by Larian), I don't think "doing their own thing" is as much of a huge change in direction as they're pretending.
