I'm not mad I am enjoying it quite a bit actually. Expecting it to be just like the the original games that are over 20 years old is just foolish. As for it being turn based I was not initially a fan
and would still appreciate a real time with pause mode as an option. But the turn based isn't really taking anything away from the game that I can see.

I've noticed in a few instances that while I'll take my character through the safe path, the other npc party members will die to something like a pool of acid. I know turn-based mode remedies this
, however turn-based mode for everything can be rather tedious. Just a bit of constructive criticism, but perhaps the party members could follow my path or avoid hazards on their own. I love the game

If you didn't want to talk about it then why did you bring it up?

Balldur's Gate 1 wasn't really real time with pause. It was turned based in real time with pause. there is a slight difference.

Having said that, the game story feels like it would be better suited
with Dragon Age Origins type of combat, which also was more of a turn based in real time.

a real time game would be more what dragon age Inquisition was, which baldur's gate 1 was not.

I agree with what others have said: If you liked DoS I or II, you'll like this. I'm not going to touch the whole Turn Based Is Bad thing because SSI (the ORIGINAL D&D games on PC) were ALL turn based
