In the second act, playing on tactics, I, being a level 7, killed a level 9 miniboss with his minions.
As a reward, they gave me a club of iron 1-4 damage (uncommon +1)
and at the end on the tower was a chest with a ring of self-immolation, I quote:
Self-immolation Ring (Uncommon)
Skill (Self Immolation) Set yourself on fire for 1-4 damage and gain "Heat" lasts 2 turns.

Further through 4 sub-windows, in short, accumulate heat points each turn and inflict 1 point of fire damage for each turn that you burn

The entire game is actually based on a true story, from what I can tell (obviously fantasized, and exaggerated, but still all true, first couple hours anyway). I would just not think too hard about it, it's probably an inside joke or highly specific reference out of context.

I could use it with my build, pretty please, you can craft a helm which halves burning damage, but I guess I even using it already or the equivalent of such an item.
