Gloom Stalkers Dread Ambusher -ability doesn't show up

This is a new one to me, and I have many play-throughs under my belt. Respeced Astarion into gloom stalker ranger at level 3, and the Dread ambusher -ability just won't show up. It doesn't appear to skill menu either.
Found a couple of posts about this, saying that booting the game a couple of times worked for them, but many boots later, nothing. I even loaded an older save and respeced him again, and the same happens again: no dread ambusher.

I've played gloom stalker many times before, but this never happened. Anyone else have this problem? Have you solved it somehow?

Same issue here. I had dread ambushed at level 3, then at some point I realized it wasn't available on the hotbar. It's not in the character sheet either.
