I cannot get Lyrthindor the last Justiciar to spawn

Hello all,

I am in Shar's gaunt;let and am trying to get Lyrthindor to spawn but am unsuccessful in doing so. I talk to the rat and then attack and kill it, but no other rats appear and Lyrthindor doesn't spawn. I have no idea how to proceed. Anybody else seen this? Any workarounds?

I found you had to give it a moment and then you should start to see some rats start spawning. I never got an animation with it, just started seeing the pop up. This happened over a week ago so IIRC, you had to attack one of the rats for the fight to trigger. Once all the rats die (and I believe there's at least two waves of them), then the Justiciar should spawn.

In my case i had the problem, that i talked to the rats close to the beginning (where the kitchen is). This then lead to the point, that they are vanished later on.
So, after having spent several hours in this mission, i had to discover, that i could not do this quest because of it.
I reloaded an older save and avoided the rats at the beginning altogether. And went straight to Lyrthindor. And now everything worked as it should.

I have the exact same problem... when will it be fixed? Really annoying. I literally play a second run for a different experience, I didn't meet or even realize it last time. (Mac)

Anyone knows a workaround? Still bugged haven't had it swapned... Any console commands to spawn it?

I had the same problem.
I solve it by "attacking" the rat manualy, not chosing to "attack" in a diallog.
