Chamber of Loss door locked

Hi, I entered the Chamber of Loss and the door shut behind me and can no longer be interacted with. My party, including Shadowheart, did not enter the door and are now locked out. I can't move her story forward, and I saved before realizing this had occurred. I tried teleporting out and coming back but the door still cannot be interacted with and the altar is not responding to me placing gold on it. Is there any way I can get them through?
