Hotbar slider gone

After searching for a solution (title), i´ve found this:

"Go to a Character that has the potions hot bar still and grab it with the mouse (dont let go of the mouse), then hit f1/f2/f3/f4 (whichever character for whom the hotbar is missing), and when you switch, you'll be still be holding the red slider, but for whatever character you switch too."

Sadly, that won´t work anymore.

Second solution was:

"Just found a solution online, but it will require some trust (Edit: more like time/ nerves), and 10 minutes of your life. Switch between items, common, and action/wizzard abilities, and try and grab the slider as it swings by. I got a seat spot near the hotbar lock button, but I was able to snag every slider each party member had lost."

That one worked for me, BUT in some circumstances, if you let go of the slider, it will "freeze" in that position and won´t move whatever you do.

I took a long rest to remove the little space on the right with actions like "use to talk to dead again" and stuff, then i cklicked on "objects" and then again "objects" to catch the slider while moving.

Someone also mentioned to reduce your fps, so it´s easier to catch it.

Hope that helps, since i just wasted over an hour to get my slider back...
