Can't launch the game after modding.

I had tried modding the game with the appearance mod but after trying to launch the game after loading the game says "Error, Failed to load the main menu from the current game mod. The main menu in that mod requires the level. Make sure to clear any local mods and try again." After trying to delete every mod and even uninstalling the game the same error appeared. But the game works if i launch it from the files with admin but all of my progress is lost that way. If anyone knows the solution please help me
