Shadowheart bugged wound interaction
SPOILER ALERT

I came to know of this bug only recently.

Shadowheart's wound is supposed to trigger a few times (four) in order to unlock the dialogue option necessary to convince her that it is a bad thing. However, there are two instances in which such process may stop:
1) if you persuaded Shadowheart to let you open the Selune chest in the owlbear cave, the progress towards the wound count stops;
2) if you feed Shadowheart the Noblestalk to help her recover a part of her memory, the wound counter stops.

I was not aware of this bug until it was described in a Youtube video that taught how Shadowheart's progress towards the Nightsong works.

Is this bug known by the developers?

Update - I filed an official bug report on the developer's website.

Update - My bug report went throough and it has been reported to the development team.

Is it a bug? Maybe that is how it is intended to be. I watched that video too, and maybe next time I might try to get Shadowheart through it. But, maybe not.

The video itself stated that the wound count stopping is a bug.

And maybe the video creator is right, maybe not.

This conversation is heading towards a loop. I agree that the maker of the video can be wrong, but if they are not, then this needs to be corrected.

But only the Devs themselves can tell you that. They do not read these threads, so unless you contact them directly via the Larian forums, discussing it here is just a bit of fun.

So there is a whole section for technical and gameplay problems, and it is not worth anything? It is like having a paper shredder disguised as a suggestion box.

Well if the people here can help, we do.

But suggestions regarding bugs, can ONLY be addressed by the Devs themselves, and therefore should be addressed via the Larian forums. No matter how much we players want to, we cannot change the code of the game. Sorry.

No need to apologise for something outside of your control.

This part is actually a remnant from EA. Then you could report bugs here. But since the game went live there is no Larian support on Steam. They have their own forums for that.
