No.
I use mods, so I'm having the same issue, but for different reasons. For me it seems that the solution will be waiting for the BG3 Script Extender to update, which is going to take a day or two.
Hope this helped a little!
NVIDIA GPU?
Nice. Many Nvidia GPU users are experiencing similar problems then what you describe. Often overheating and system crash. Trying to still pinpoint what is causing it.
For you one question: using Vulkan right? If so, sadly once you enter Grimforge vulkan stops being the better option. As in in Grimforge and in ACT2 it will crash your game quite often. (even if you leave Grimforge and go back to the normal places you visited, for some reason it tends to carry over.)
DirectX 11 is what I use
Also I have been poking around grimforge for about 3 days real time, and it started crashing today.
Need to contact Larian then. There is no official support for the game on Steam.
Check sticky post how to do it.
edit: is your 6600 XT 8 GB? What graphical settings are you running the game on?
They have been getting bug reports from me, and I have other games to play....so not terribly worried.
I havent played BG 3 since september or october? Is a huge disappointment for me:P
I have kept an eye on card temps and no issues there. Plus no issues on Cyberpunk or Starfield or FarCry 6. Just BG3 which has been resolved by file verification via Steam.
