Companion won't follow me (Specifically Jaheira)

This is only happening with the new patch and I've tried everything.

Killing her and reviving her
Uploading the last save
Moving her on the chain thingy to the left of the screen
Dismissing her and asked her to rejoin my group
Quitting my game and reopening it

I am not sure what to do and would like help.

Not trying to hijack your question but I'm having a similar problem. I'm having the same issue but with Minthara. Also since the new patch. Another issue is that I cant interact with the owlbear any longer.

i am having the same problem with minthara. I recruited her before patch 6 on moonrise towers. Now she will stand completely still unless I select her as the main character to control

Hello, i am also encountering this problem i also sent a report to larian but i've made some tests and for jeheira it seems like she's just very broken, i tried to load up some old saves and i noticed that before act 3 she works fine. So it might be some problems with her scripts, i don't know, i sent a report to larian and i'am going to wait for an answer, i'll keep you updated

Yesterday i had the same bug with jaheira. she is not moving if she is not the leader. Dont know what to do, i have tried several things. It seems that if you reload a previus save it can solve it but i am in honor mode and cant do that.

I've opened a ticket and they told me that they are working to fix this problem so i guess we have to be patients

The one fix I could find is to leave camp with Jaheira in your party and then dismiss her then enter turn based mode and cast dominate mind on her and then recruit her back in camp and she should be fine now, supposedly. I couldn’t get dominate mind to hit (wisdom saving throw and she’s got 19 for me so I’ve just got to keep trying) but this supposedly fixed it for other people

This bug just hit me, so I guess I'll try this work around.

Have had this bug, didn't realize till I was at Jaheira's house and thought "Hey! Let's put her in the party for this!" I dismissed her afterwards, but have her back in my party to recruit Minsc and the problem still exists. I tried the Dominate Person trick twice, no dice - I did get it to stick twice (eventually), but when I went back to camp she just wasn't there. The first time I figured I went back to camp without letting her vanish from view, so I reloaded and tried a second time. I let her disappear from sight before heading back to camp - still gone. :(

I think the dominate person spell has to wear off before she goes to your camp. I specifically remember doing this when the bug happened to me, and not seeing her. But then she did end up coming back to camp, but I can't really remember how. I might have just waited the ten rounds for the spell to wear off, or long rested, I can't totally remember. But keep at it, because it does work. Try waiting a while, or long resting, you should be able to do it.

Once she does join your camp again though, she just wanders around aimlessly, and potion/item management becomes a pain because he backpack will continually close even if you stand next to her.

Jaheira is gone. Ive tried going back and forth from camp, reloading, going in and out of turnbased, progressing her quest, she will not return to camp. Is there any way to get her back besides going back a fair bit?

I had a similar problem during Moonrise tower, as my character was running into the entrance of the tower just after the speaking with Jaheira. my group followed me in and as the battle commenced, my group stood separated from me as all enemies focused their attacks on me(Only), thats happened a few times, also when i first arrived in the city of BG, or the first portal near the entrance way to the next part of the city, its when she stands there as you run with your other companions to the main or side mission, also i tried many ways to get her to follow..
