Are you using a left handed mouse?
(As left click is usually what is considered the "button to select" things.)
Also you could try to launch the game without the launcher mayhap that might help a bit?
Not necessarily, your mind just might have been far too ahead for your hands to catch up while typing. (I often have to reread twice or thrice what i wrote and edit my posts:P)
Also could be some kind of a new bug that the patch brought. I see ton of bug reports posted. But also remember there are only steam users reading the forum. Official Larian support is not available on Steam.
(Cant recall if you can tab throug the menu as in pressing tab will jump over the menu options and if enter will allow you to select it, but in many games it was an option so might try it. Don't feel like starting up the game just to check that:P)
The Tab and Enter button doesn't work as well
Excersise the game update routine.
That reminds me of something I consider very funny nowadays. I once had a guide on how to reset keybinds quick and easy. I deleted it because I was certain, based on the lack of upvotes and views, that no one ever would need that. I mean, with the game update routine it is covered there and in the troubleshooting guide of mine.
Plus there is also the option in Larian Launcher I just remembered of. That trivia is especially hilarious since I only used the LariLauncher once and afterwards only for guidemaking and troubleshooting to retrace the steps of players and see if there is something they could mess up with.
:) I remember those games/times where you needed to edit the file to be able to reassign bound keys.
As a general rule do not throw out anything that is PC related info:D
(also currently watching the video for my GUI class which will start in 2.5 hours:D, where we will need to make some kind of a small app:D)
If I was not lazy I would think about making a small DxDiag GUI. You copy & paste the report of players, it removes anything which worries users about doxxing while highlighting essential game device information and issues.
If such a webapp would have some connectivity which also hyperlinks what issue means what ... it would change nothing as people will not read anyroads.
