Patch #6: Inventory panel is gone

Yesterday, 15 Feb 2024, everything in my modded BG3 game was working just fine. Today when I loaded several different save points, the inventory panel was completely missing from every character. The weight they were carrying was still there, equipped items were still there, but the inventory panel itself was gone--including the grid lines for item spaces. Unequipping an item caused it to just vanish. Additionally, I can't open the traveler's chest in camp.

I don't know anything about programming mods. I know just enough to download mods and use BG3MM to organize them. Is this a case where I just need to wait for the mod devs to update their work for the new patch?

Yup.

I initially figured it was mod related, but every item is gone including vanilla stuff. Equipped items still in place including items that are modded in.

I had the same problem, also with modded playthrough. Affects new games or loaded games.

Same; used both mod and vanilla. My 1000 hour initial playthrough destroyed by patch 6. F*^K you Larian!!!!

I'm having this problem as well, can't figure out how to fix it. All I can see is what equipment they have equipped and then potions on the hot bar

yeah same issue here. ill update this issue if i manage to figure it out but my best bet is if this is happening to a lot of people larian will look into asap

This is happening on my modded playthrough now too, I just restarted because I hardlocked my game too. I hope there is a fix. This is mildly upsetting.

I suspect a mod issue, based on the many posts I have read. If you swear you are not using any mods, then send in your issue with your savegame and screenshots here

Just fyi, I disabled all mods (including overrides which I deleted) and still get the issue on a brand new game. Inventory panels gone, only equipped items visible, can't unequip (dragging to the inventory does nothing).
