Baldurs gate 3 stutters when selecting spells/items

As i am travelling, i like to hover my mouse over the different abilities and items in my inventory to read, inspect, talk about, whatever. Essentially whenever i hover my mouse over the UI

i could not help but notice that the game stutters with each selection; when the page of information appears, listing damage and such.

is this an in game issue and are there any fixes?

my specs is gtx 3060ti, 16gb ram, and ryzen 7 5800x. i don't think its my PC's inability to run the game, everything is smooth.

if not, do let me know. Any suggestions on how to fix this would gladly be appreciated.

Same story after last patch. Before that everything was ok. I did not find a solution, there is an idea to clear the game cache. I'm not around right now to try it.

Delete the %LocalAppData%\Larian Studios folder But make a backup just in case. And look in the folder for my documents and delete it there. Well, check if there is a result.

what does clearing the cache do? does your game lag when you hover over the UI items too?

ryzen 7 5800x here and I have massive fps drops down to a single digit during combat.

Please report this to Larian, I have seen so many threads about this same issue. I am experiencing it also, and haven't found a fix. Has anyone here?

I have tried many things, nothing helps. I also thought about rolling back the nividia driver to the previous one, but I'm too lazy. :)
