Unable to Pick Things Up

Having a bug where not able to loot corpses. Can't pick up any items from them. Even picking up the corpse and then putting it in inventory does not allow taking anything. Confirmed it with multiple corpses, including ones that have seen in LP's that have items to be retrieved. Done campaign restart, loaded saves, and re-installed game.

Wondering if this is an issue other folks have run into, and if so they know of a workaround or it will hopefully be addressed in a coming hotfix?

I've been having the same issue. I right click, select loot and it makes a sound, but nothing happens after that. I've tried all the same troubleshooting tips but it still isn't working for me.

Guess it's a bug then and it'll be fixed in one of the future hotfixes.

Very, very minor evaluation - it seems to go particularly when the game slows/lags and then it won't let you pickup anything. However, this only effects corpses - therea re no issues when doing so from items (containers/etc) when it lags. Very, very randomly if lag slows down for a few seconds it will let me pickup no problem, but it has to be in that range (of graphics-wise).

Now it seems like I can't pick up anything from corpses at all. Trying to click to pick things up/right click to loot and not able to get anything - in real time or turn based. Ah well, guess I'll be waiting for the hotfix

Dec 2024 and this is still a thing. Has there been a resolution to this?

EDIT: Restarted PC and restarted game obv and it's fixed.
