Mod loading error

Hey yall. I recently installed some mods in the game to get some builds and carry weight not normally available. But recently I ran into this issue

"When I start it up and the load gets to 100% it displays the message "Failed to load the main menu from the current game mod SharedDev. The main menu in that mod requires the level . make sure to clear any local mods and try again. If the problem persist, please contact Larian support."

However I deleted all mods. From top to bottom it dosent even have the mod manager anymore. However it displays the exact same image I cant even play it after a reinstall.

I downloaded the choose your own stats, carry weight increased, and full release mod fixer. Everything being gone but still having the message is super weird. Anyone else having the issue?

This is a problem with Vortex.
I was under the impression they had updated their program to work with the new version of BG3, but I use the BG3 Mod Manager and it managed to avoid this issue for me.

If you still have the message after uninstalling the mods its because theres still a file that has the mod list. cant remember which file it is but you have to delete that then the game will run normally again.

appdata/local/larian studios/baldur's gate 3/player profiles/public
delete modsettings.lsx

that will let you run bg3 again normally. dont worry that file will be recreated automatically next time you launch the game with mods so deleting it doesnt do anything, but it still wont fix the mods. itll just let you run the game normal again, you'll still have to trouble shoot to get the mods to actually work.

If anyone has trouble finding the file, in the larian launcher you can go into settings and scroll down to SUPPORT and Open Profile Folder, from there you can click on player profiles, then public, then you find the file. Thank you so much. I thought I'd lost 170 hours of gameplay.

Muchas gracias, aun cuando borre los mods y desinstale Vortex, segui con problemas hasta que intente justo lo que decian. En mi caso en la carpeta de "player profiles" busque manualmente por el mod y lo borre.

this didnt solve the problem. i still am having it appear with that message never used vortex for baldurs gate 3 and i have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times already
