HUD Disappearing

After exiting an area in the druid's area that required loading, my hud suddenly vanished, including the button for saving and quitting the game. After finding and speaking with an NPC the HUD would temporarily return, before suddenly leaving again. I ended up having to talk to another NPC for the HUD to temporarily return so I could save and exit the game.

Not sure if it applies for this problem, but you could try cycling your UI by pressing F10 as well as switching from full screen to windowed (and back again) or vice versa. It's helped me with similar UI problems in the past.
