Invisibility breaks upon taking item
As the title says, invisibility breaks when you pick up an item. It shouldn't work like this. It should break when you attack or cast a spell, as the description says. But now a very powerful tool in D&D has been reduced to just a slightly better stealth, whether on purpose or through a bug.

Example: I'm in a certain area (Shar's Gauntlet) where you need to collect some items to move forward. Trying to play in a more role-playing, less murder hobo-y way, I decided to have my rogue sneak in and grab one of the items rather than fight in the obvious ambush. I used a scroll of invisibility, snuck up and grabbed the item, only for him to pop back into view in the middle of a room surrounded by enemies.

I could see if when I took the item, the enemies had noticed it disappear and I had to succeed on Stealth checks for whether they heard me or not, but I lost invisibility immediately and then had a bunch of checks for whether I was seen when standing in plain view in the middle of the room (I actually passed all but 1; would I have been able to sneak out even though I was in their sight? That seems more silly than invisibility randomly breaking for no reason). For claiming to offer basically unlimited choice, to be basically D&D in video game form, I sure am forced into fights a lot of times. It's ridiculous. Please fix this.

Can confirm, I've had this happen to me multiple times. Makes trying to pickpocket unreasonably frustrating. Like, don't get me wrong, I enjoy a challenge a lot of the times, but sometimes I just don't want to deal with going turn based and avoiding detection for like ten minutes every single time I want to check something out.

My Astarion has a high bonus to stealth, and it just feels cheap when the rogue will suddenly drop invisibility and stop hiding in front of a merchant or in a room full of enemies. Feels like a bug, and makes invisibility pretty much pointless outside sneak attacks (and even then, it's usually easier to just get advantage via flanking).

Still having this happen even with the Greater Invisibility spell, but only when picking up specific objects (like the printing slates in the basement of the Baldur's Mouth Gazette building)
invisibility potion does the same??? in the goblin camp i used a potion of invisibility, says it lasts for 10 turns, but when i pick up / steal a barrel of wine, it instnatly brings me out of it. like why?? whats the point of invisibility if its just gonna disappear the moment i pick anything up?? didnt attack or use any thing that "should" remove the effect. makes the potion literally pointless. and definitely not worth the 169 gold i had to pay for it.

ya sadly it does that so that makes invisibility only a strategy to escape and leave fights to go to camp and ressurect your companions
