Are you trying to play in DX11 or Vulkan? The devs even stated Vulkan is still a trial and error basis right now but DX11 should be fully playable.
Also, you said you went from a 970 to a 3060. I'm going to bet that you did NOT do a complete clean-out of all your old GPU drivers and info. Look up CC Cleaner and completely get rid of all the older AMD stuff you had installed. CC Cleaner is pretty self explanatory when loaded and will get rid of all the bloat from AMD that may be conflicting with your new Nvidia card.
Lastly, Did you do as the devs stated for a new game? You have to manually delete ALL YOUR OLD SAVES from Early Access, UNINSTALL the game and then delete the old game folder. Then, INSTALL the game again and do a reboot. That may also fix your problem.
Good luck, m8. It's an excellent game and sucks you can't enjoy it right now.
You bet wrong, I upgraded my hard drives also and completely reinstalled windows and all my drivers fresh from scratch. Also I upgraded from GTX 970 to a 3060 so there's never been any AMD on my computer.
Yes, it's a new character. Everything is new out of the box basically.
Share screenshots which show that you are not using XMP/EXPO, or using any other overclocking.
great stuff...
I'm getting horrible flashbacks to when I tried to play Fallout 3 back in the day. Just constant crashes... Missed out on that whole game. Old trauma is kicking back in!
Fix please... I can't even send in bug reports because the screen goes black.....

All super common parts from ASUS. Literally runs everything else with zero troubles. Updated literally all drivers for literally everything in my PC. ZERO difference.
Do not forget ASUS is a common brand to cause issues for their GameFirst software...
It is? Well that's typical...
I did a fresh reinstall now, just played 4 hours and no crash... I'm 99% certain that was just as random as the crashes. A short lasting blessing. The game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good when it works..
For those in India, it's available through TGP " The gaming Project " Rs. 1300 for unlimited gaming.
That idea is not so bad. If you can afford it.
Again, totally just feels like a random thing fixed it more than anything else.. Reinstalling is probably not something that will reliably work..
On the flipside, it's probably the solution fewest people have tried because the game is fricken 100gigs.
Also, I did the file integrity check on Steam twice without errors before reinstalling.
