Yeah. So I reloaded my save and replayed the dialogue that leads to this issue. I didn't click or press any buttons, it just kind of happens. I know Detect Thoughts is supposed to be a dialogue option but I didn't even get to choose, it just happened without any warning. Probably a bug.

Friends and charm person actually have that written in the tool tip.

Yeah was not sure where you used and what, is why i thought on detect thoughts as first.
