My "Expand Tooltip" or Left Alt Doesn't work

As the title says, it doesn't work, I've tried rotating Keybindings I dont know what to do. It has worked for the majority of my playtime but I dont know what I or the game did to turn it off. Lmk if a solution comes up I guess

Do you A: Have a controller plugged in but aren't using it? If so change its layout from something such as cyberpunk to bg's style in Steam settings for controllers according to friend. Then Keyboard will work. If not B: Plug in and load save on controller then try on mouse + key. Worked for my friend. If this doesn't help you sorry friend

I am also experiencing this problem. Don't have a controller handy right now. Did the above trick work for you?

Sometimes there is nothing to be highlighted though. The highlight will not highlight many of the stuff you can pick up. Are you sure it should highlight things there? Try to check it at other areas where there items you know should be highlighted. (Or drop a book or sg.)
